Valentina’s licensing programme continues to expand

Valentina’s licensing portfolio continues to grow with new product ranges to be released at retailers worldwide.

American stationery manufacturer Studio Oh! have commissioned new work by the Venezuelan artist through our American partners Jewel Branding & Licensing to launch their new range of colouring-in products. Studio Oh’s Senior Art Director states ‘There’s been a rising trend for adult colouring books for the last two years and we thought we could pick-up this trend. Valentina was a perfect fit, her unique style is very organic and even when someone is colouring her work there is still a sense of personal creativity’

Furthermore, long time partner teNeues are extending their Valentina license to include an exclusive range of calendars featuring Valentina’s latest work.

Carousel Calendars Snaps Up Katarina Sokolova

UK publisher Carousel Calendars has snapped up Katarina Sokolova for their new 2016 calendar and diary range available throughout Europe.

Carousel Calendars states “We are delighted to be producing calendar products featuring Katarina’s unique artwork. Katarina’s digital paintings are inspired by fashion and fantasy, and these new products will bring something different to our existing range of art titles.”

Katarina is a Ukranian artist trained in batik painting and graphic design who works using both digital and traditional mediums. Her signature style of hyperrealistic and seductively beautiful imagery is available for a variety of licensed products including wall art, greeting cards, stationery and jigsaw puzzles. Albert Lorenz


The work of Albert Lorenz is recognized for its unique style and extraordinary detail. Born in 1941 and raised in New York City, Lorenz studied Architecture before moving on to a prolific illustration career.

Over the years, Albert Lorenz has produced a wide spectrum of art including illustrations for advertising, newspapers, magazines, editorials, children’s books and book covers. Lorenz gradually evolved his singular style by combining his knowledge of architecture with his imagination as an artist.

MGL is pleased to welcome new artist Michael Young. Originally from Kansas, Michael started his training in New York at the Art Students’ League. The response to his work has been tremendous and has resulted in many private as well as corporate collections and international recognition. His studio and gallery are now located in Kansas City where he lives with his wife and two sons.

Michael Young seduces the viewer into his world of elegance and romance. His stylish vignettes of the 30’s, 40’s and 50’s are at once decorative, whimsical and compellingly nostalgic. Michael’s work is suitable for a range of products including posters, jigsaws, cards, gifts and more.
