A Record Breaking Puzzle from MGL Artist

MGL represented artist Adrian Chesterman’s illustration, ‘Wildlife’, has been licensed for a record breaking 33,600 piece puzzle produced by Educa. When complete, the mural will measure  5.7 metres long and 1.57 meters high and even comes in a special wooden box with wheels for easy transportation!

The illustration is a magnificent wildlife landscape with a lush backdrop, intricate detailing and beautiful colours. With over 100 animals featuring in the piece, this is certainly one of the worlds most challenging puzzles.

Adrian comments on the piece: “Working on such a large scale and with a subject that I like was a very exciting challenge. I have been drawing animals almost all my life and I love nature and wildlife. Therefore, drawing a gigantic scene with all these wonders of the animal kingdom was a great delight.”

MGL Licensing Manager, Raul Turpin, comments, “Working with Educa on this  innovative project has been an enjoyable challenge. As one of the leading suppliers of licensed artwork to the puzzle & game industry, we are always working with our artists to develop new and innovative designs for our clients. ”

The puzzle was officially launched earlier this month at the Nuremberg Toy Fair 2014, and will be on the market from March 2014.
